Hunter Cate Brown winning the MECU Star Student award.

Congratulations, Hunter Cate Brown, from Germantown High School for being selected as the Star Student of the Month of December. This award is voted on by the faculty and staff of GHS, and is based on outstanding academic achievement and strong commitment to community involvement.

Hunter Cate has been an instrumental part of the GHS dance team for four years, as well as being a part of the GHS Yearbook staff. She is a member of Beta Club, Student Government, and she is a FCA Core Leader. She is consistently on the Honor Roll and has earned several class awards, including AP Chemistry. Hunter Cate is extremely involved in numerous church and community service activities and even spends her time mentoring a local elementary student.

Members Exchange is proud to recognize Hunter Cate’s accomplishments and reward her with December’s Star Student Award. The MECU Star Student Award honors students who exemplify strong community engagement and service into their daily lives. We award 4 students at GHS during the Fall semester with this award, and they receive a certificate, $100 check payable to the student, and a MECU swag bag.
