NCUA Offers Older Americans Resources to Prevent Themselves Against Financial Abuse

In recognition of Older Americans Month, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is focusing on emphasizing its online resources to protect senior citizens against financial fraud and exploitation. According to NCUA Board Chairmain Rodney E. Hood, the NCUA’s goal is to promote available resources to older credit union members so they can educate themselves and ultimately prevent themselves from falling victim to the financial abuse and financial scandals that are specifically targeted towards older people.
