Jackson has an estimated 1,352 experiencing homelessness on any given day, as reported by HUD. Of that, 112 were family households, 102 were veterans, 87 were unaccompanied adults (ages 18-24) and 279 were individual experience chronic homelessness.
How can you help- Operation Warmth!
What is Operation Warmth?
Operation Warmth is a partnership between Members Exchange Credit Union, WLBT and We Will Go to distribute warm clothing to those in need in the metro Jackson area.
Donations will be accepted at all three Members Exchange locations and through a Go Fund Me account. We Will Go will distribute the clothes to those in need.
Donations will be accepted through Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Accepting gently used or new:
- Coats
- Scarves
- Gloves
- Hats
- Shoes
- Socks (new only)
- Blankets
Thank you for your donation and for giving back to our community. The donations will provide warm clothes to those in need in our community. This will help relieve the burden of clothing expenses for many families in our community. Thanks for your support of Operation Warmth!
